Sri Prabhav Paturi is a Cross-cultural psychology researcher, practicing cognitive behavioral therapist, creative writer, kriya yoga and vyoma bindu bhairava tantra sadhaka. He has worked as an assistant professor at the Psychology Department of MIT School of Vedic Sciences. He completed his MSc in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from B.R. Ambedkar Open University. He is currently working in Hyderabad as a Counseling Psychologist and Psychology Researcher. He is the son of Nagaraj Paturi, a distinguished professor, curriculum designer and Sanskrit and Shastra Scholar. He is the grand-son of Bahubhasha Kovida, Sakala Shastra Parangata, Sri Vidya Tantra Upasaka, Shri Paturi Sitaramanjaneyulu, a hyper-math, hyper-polyglot, who was an emminent scholar of Sanskrit, the Vedas, Upanishads and all the Indian Shastras.
