Sreejit Datta is Assistant Professor and Director of the Centre for Civilisational Studies at Rashtram School of Public Leadership, Rishihood University, Sonipat, Haryana, India. He is also the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Studies in Public Leadership. Datta’s research interests include alaṁkāraśāstra, aesthetic philosophy, literary theory and criticism, cultural studies, historiography, performance studies, Bhakti traditions, and Vedic studies. He is an avid translator, a writer, and a musician. His scholarly works, translations, creative writings, lectures and opinion pieces have been widely published across academic as well as popular platforms, including Sāhitya: Journal of the Comparative Literature Association of India, Bloomsbury India, Firstpost, Wales Arts Review, Education Times, The Daily Guardian, Swarajya, Swatantra Magazine, Bangodesh Patrika, and Sangam Talks.
