Prasanth B. currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Amrita Darshanam – International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus. He completed his B. A. (Philosophy) from the University of Calicut, Calicut and his M. A. (Philosophy) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. He is proficient in Indian Philosophy and Tantra, and has a keen interest in Ritual Art forms of Kerala and Sanskrit. He studied Vedanta under the guidance of the great Vendantic Scholar Swami Kaivalyananda Giri and has been extensively trained in Tantra philosophy and rituals by the renowned Tantri Thazhuvally Matham Subhramanyan Nampoothiri at Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District. He served for some time as the coordinator of Cultural Education Department, Amritapuri campus. From its very inception, he has been the Managing Editor of quarterly cultural magazine SAMVIT.
