The Yogasutra of Patanjali is one of the most influential texts on Yoga ever written. This aphoristic work explains the path of Yoga in a series of concise steps, making it an invaluable work for any sadhaka. It is one of the six darshanas of Hinduism. Over the two millenia since it was written, it has been a guide to many in India. In more recent times, it’s fame has spread throughout the world.
Vidyavatika is organizing a workshop for the study of the Yogasutra titled ‘International Textual Workshop on Yoga-darshana (Level 3)’. During this course, the participants will study (III.9 – IV) of the Yogasutra along with Vyasa’s commentary. The workshop aims to provide a complete picture of the Yoga-darshana and help the particpants appreciate the science that is Yoga.
