Teru kūttu (street play) is an ancient artform which has evolved from theatre artforms that existed during the Saṅgam period in Tamiḷ Nadu.
We have vast amounts of oral, literary, historic, artistic and cultural traditions in each region – nay each hamlet – of Bhārata. Each aspect in each of these traditions in each of these regions in each of these hamlets can be interpreted in innumerable ways: within the domain of dharma.
