Vedāntadeśika, explained to us, the way to meditate, the object to be meditated on and the way to overcome the obstacles faced during the mediation. So, one should find a place where he is not disturbed by any external objects, especially sound. Then he should make a pavilion in his heart made by the four pillars, Jñāna (knowledge), Bhakti (devotion), Vairāgya (detachment), Śānti (peace of mind).
Dr. Thiagarajan S and Dr. Vinoth M
Dr. Thiagarajan S, working as an Assistant professor in the Department of oriental studies and research of SASTRA University located in Tanjore, started his schooling in a traditional Vedic Patashala namely Sri Ahobila Muth Oriental High School located at Madurantakam, Tamilnadu. He completed his Oriental Title for Siromani that is equal to Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit, in 2009 with a Gold medal. Then, he completed his Bachelor of Education in Sanskrit in 2010 in Thrissur's campus of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, now called Central Sanskrit University. He then completed his Masters in Sanskrit grammar in Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram and was awarded the degree with a gold medal in 2012. He also did his M.Phil in Sanskrit and completed it in 2013 from the same university. He then started his doctoral research there itself in Caraka Samhita, an Ayurvedic text, with special reference to Sanskrit Grammar. He was awarded the Doctorate degree in 2018 and started his career at Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College at Poonamallee, Chennai. He then joined SASTRA university. He has attended and presented papers in many national and international level seminars and webinars in various branches of knowledge of Sanskrit like Sanskrit grammar, Ayurveda, Vedas, Children literature, etc. His remarkable presentation was "A study on the names of the trees mentioned in Raghuvaṃśa of Kālidāsa with a special reference to Ayurvedic concept" which he has presented in the National Seminar held at Chennai. Beyond his expertised field, Sanskrit grammar, in other words Vyakarana, Dr.Thiagarajan is also working in different branches of Sanskrit language like Ayurveda, Literature, etc. Dr. Vinoth M has started his schooling in Sri Ahobila Muth Oriental Sanskrit High School, a traditional Veda Patashala located in Madurantakam. He completed his OSLC and joined there itself for his Undergraduate. He completed his Oriental Siromani title in the year 2010 with a gold medal and moved to Thirussur, Kerala for his B.ed in Sanskrit. He studied there in one of the campuses of Rashtirya Sanskrit Sansthan, known as Central Sanskrit University now, and completed his B.Ed in 2011. Then he did his Masters in Sanskrit grammar (Vyakarana) at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, known as Kanchi University, and completed his PG in 2013 with a gold medal. He then pursued his PhD in Sanskrit grammar under the joint venture between Kanchi University and French Institute of Pondicherry. He was awarded with a Doctorate Degree in 2017 and subsequently he joined the Department of Indology of French Institute of Pondicherry. He has been delivering talks in his expertised field, Sanskrit grammar, and also in various knowledge of branches like Literature, General Sanskrit and Ayurveda & Astrology. He has also attended many National and International level Seminars and presented papers in the above mentioned fields. He has published a number of articles and research papers in various ISBN, ISSN and regional journals.
