Dr. Sarita Seshagiri holds a PhD in Political Science from the National University of Singapore, a Masters in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Bachelors in History from Lady Sriram College, New Delhi.
After her doctorate, she joined some of the leading multinationals in mobile technology as a user experience researcher-ethnographer in their research divisions. She has presented papers in leading conferences on human computer interaction, user centred design and social technology. In the course of her work, she has led many studies that included field explorations in villages, as well as semi urban and urban centres. She has even participated in many funded projects that required foreign and multiple-level domestic collaboration. She has a rich ground level experience in managing diverse primary data, as well as qualitative analysis of field data.
Dr. Seshagiri finds herself rediscovering Bharata with every field exploration and every user interview she has undertaken over the years. There are myths and stereotypes that constantly get debunked with each interaction and experience. And the journey continues…
