Dr. Jaiprakash Gupta (a.k.a Jai) is a double graduate in psychology and speech pathology, a post-graduate in speech and hearing sciences, studying in Bombay, Gujarat and Mysore Universities in India and recently completed his PhD in health informatics from the University of Sydney. In his 40 years of career as a speech pathologist, audiologist and health governance manager in the health sector, he has published and presented over 100 papers at national and international conferences. Born in India, since childhood, he was a natural student & practitioner of various schools of yoga including, Hatha, Gyaan, Nada, Mantra, Kundalini and Karma yoga. For the past 25 years, he is living and working in Sydney and has recently started teaching philosophy, ethics and history of yoga to students undergoing certification courses to practice yoga in Australia. He is a passionate reader of comparative religion, Indology, western and eastern philosophies. He is currently working on an evolution of consciousness model within neurosciences, neuro-psycholinguistics, neuro-cognition and quantum physics framework; hoping to demonstrate interoperability between modern and ancient knowledge systems.
