Ayush Jaiwal

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of History & Archaeology, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, working primarily on history of knowledge exchanges and history of Indian sciences. I am an engineer turned historian, who finds himself at the cusp of humanities and sciences. I have done B.E. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala. During my semester exchange in Nanjing, China I was fascinated by Chinese history and how beautifully it was preserved and transmitted. It motivated me to do M.A. in History & Archaeology and M.Phil. in History. I have published a few research papers on how indigenous knowledge forms were used by the British colonial state. I have previously worked as the District Youth Coordinator for Nehru Yuva Kendra in Rewari. I have also managed national partnerships for AIESEC India working in the capacity of the National Support Team (Business Development - Partnerships). Twitter handle is @ayushjaiwal
