Kumar is the author (under last name Sharma) of The Age of Ananda: Conscious Evolution to the Life Divine (www.AgeOfAnanda.net), based on the teachings of the Vedas as expounded by Sri Aurobindo. After a 25-year career in innovation management and software development, Dr. Nochur is now a writer and teacher of conscious evolution and the primacy of consciousness. He has long been involved with efforts to preserve the chanting tradition of the Vedic mantras and to reveal their spiritual wisdom. Being equally comfortable with Vedanta and metaphysics at one end and physics and cosmology at the other, he is currently working on a book that integrates science and spirituality by making consciousness the ultimate field of energetic creation and evolution. Educated in India (in physics, mathematics and management at the University of Mumbai) and the United States (Ph.D. in management of innovation from MIT's Sloan School), Dr. Nochur lives in the Boston area.
